Ioan Gruffudd talks FF

Welshman Ioan Gruffudd, who plays Dr. Reed Richards in next years 'Fantastic Four' , appeared on channel 4 show 'Richard & Judy' (UK) this afternoon.

Gruffudd was on the show promoting his latest movie 'King Arthur' , but was later asked what he was doing next, to which he replied : "Im playing a superhero!" , with a certain degree of excitement in his voice.

He said that he had been in talks for the last 6 months for the part and was only given the phone call to confirm his participation 6 weeks ago!

He said he looked foward to working with Tim Story (director) and the rest of the cast.

Host Richard Matelys final question for Ioan was: "Any idea as to who will be the villain in the movie?" , to which Ioan replied "Dr. Doom of course, their still looking for some poor fella to play him though *laughs*"

On that side note: Agreed. That would be awesome. But unfortunately, I think they may go with someone younger, to fit the rest of the cast
